Obtaining of the deformation module by means of double flat jack test on a masonry bearing wall
The test of double flat-jack allows to determine the module of Young of the masonry. This is an "in situ" test that can not be considered destructive. Measuring points are placed, two horizontal parallel cuts are made and flat jacks are placed there. Load steps are applied and the deformation is measured. The pairs of tension-deformation values allow the determining of the masonry Young module.
