Heritage Buildings

We use the term Heritage Building when referring to catalogued building projects, which require very accurated interventions, and a research in materials which often can only be done with the collaboration between professionals, institutions, universities and companies. 

 

The Laboratory started its research activity in Heritage Buildings in the year 1994, when the "Casa de los Botines" - Antoni Gaudí's work in León (Spain) - requested a diagnosis of its timber elements. Since then, we have participated in various singular projects, of which we highlight a few below.
